About Real Directions

Real Directions offers a wealth of experience in the residential property market and an innovative approach to real estate marketing.

Real Directions was established in Portland in February 1998 and, following three years of extremely successful trading, a second office was opened in Weymouth in July 2001. During 2005, the third Real Directions office was opened in the County Town of Dorchester. The high level of achievements has continued throughout 2006 with the launch of a lettings department covering all 3 locations of operation, firmly establishing Real Directions as one of the leading real estate agents in South Dorset.

Real Directions is independently owned and Glenn Smith, the Senior Partner, is heavily involved in the day to day running of all operations.

Weymouth Office

Our office is ideally situated in the heart of Weymouth town centre. The Weymouth Office is managed by James Lee, who has 10 years’ experience in real estate marketing.

We are currently seeking Investors in People Accreditation which will give us formal recognition of our commitment to staff development. I have worked for national estate agency chains in the past, but believe that an independent company like Real Directions can offer a more personal and caring service.”

Portland Office

Our office is situated in a prime position in the busy shopping centre of Easton. Also managed by James Lee to ensure a fully integrated service with the Weymouth office. The Portland office second in command is Peter Grout-Smith, who has been with the company for some six years, originally providing only weekend assistance he has successfully trained as a Negotiator and earned promotion in 2006 to Senior Sales Negotiator.

Dorchester Office

Located in the heart of the historic County Town of Dorchester, the newest office of the Real Directions Group is managed by Mark Stevenson who has a wealth of experience working in this vibrant market town. Mark is ably assisted by a team of property professionals who all live locally.
